CIAA EVENTS---What's Going On
"ART SPEAKS "- A Lecture & Interactive Demonstration Series
Conanicut Island Art Association (CIAA) is proud to announce our program to provide artistic enrichment for it's members and the community. The lectures will be free and open to the public and held at the Jamestown Philomenian Library. Artists and art experts will speak on a range of topics.
CIAA intends to complement the "ART SPEAKS" series with original art, photography, and visual arts to be held in the meeting room at the Library. 2016 & First Lecture of 2017 Lectures made possible by a grant from the Rhode Island Foundation.

Globetrotting photojournalist, Daniel Forster, will amaze us with a power point presentation of his adventures as the official Rolex Geneva and Rolex USA photographer. Forster, the Swiss born sailing legend, is one of the finest yachting photographers of our time. He has covered 12 America’s Cup Races since 1977,
3 Volvo Round-the-World Races and 12 Olympic Games since 1972.
The photos you will see are nothing short of spectacular!
